Have Faith In God

“And Jesus answering said unto them, “Have faith in God.”  Mark 11:22.  Jesus tells us here where to place our faith.  We need to put all of our faith and trust in God.  We need to know that God and His Word will never fail us.  One man said it this way, “The most powerful entity in all of creative order is the Word of God.”  In Jeremiah 1:12 God said,”…I will hasten after my word to perform it.”  And Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”  We have got to come to the place that we believe that God’s word is full of power.  God is watching over His Word and we have to see that all the power of heaven backs that Word.  There is nothing that can stop that word.  The Only thing that stops God’s Word from coming to pass in our lives is our unbelief.  We need to make a decision that no matter what we will see the Word of God as the final authority for every situation that we go through.  When we do we will be able to say, as the psalmist did in Psalms 119:162, “I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.”  Because we will see God’s Word for the treasure that it really is.  We will begin to rejoice in the promise of God because we are trusting Him to fulfill His promise.  God and His Word are one having faith in God means you have faith in His Word.  Start believing and watch that Word come to pass.
